Board and Batten Installation In Canton, Massachusetts
On this job in Canton, MA we completed a board and batten installation along with D4 vinyl siding. Also, we installed PVC trim and new gutters and downspouts.
Project Overview
These homeowners came to us looking for an estimate to tie in their existing house with their home’s newer addition. They envisioned a combination of D4 vinyl siding on the second floor and board and batten on the first floor. For the vertical siding application, they chose to go with primed pine boards at 12 inches wide with 1 x 2 strips in between. For the horizontal siding application, the homeowner chose Fairway Platinum Gray vinyl siding. Our crew was able to tie in the new vinyl siding with the old siding on the side elevations, saving the homeowner from a complete siding replacement. Once the horizontal siding, vertical siding, and trim were installed, our crew put up new gutters and downspouts.
