Improved Siding and Guaranteed Roofing
These new homeowners recently bought this home in Taunton, Massachusetts, and needed to improve the siding and find a guaranteed solution to the old roofing system.
Project Overview
As new homeowners, the first thing they wanted to tackle was the roof. The roof was reaching the end of its lifespan and was displaying signs of wear and tear. Also, the lead around the chimney started to curl and come loose, along with extensive moss build-up on the left elevation of the roof. In addition to the roofing, they also wanted to include new vinyl siding on four gable ends of the home. Our crew first started by stripping the old three-tabbed shingles and small rubber section from the roof deck. Before we installed the asphalt roofing, we began installing the rubber roof. Once the rubber roof was completed, we started to apply Certainteed’s integrity roof system on the remainder of the home. The integrity roof system gives homeowners an added peace of mind when it comes to their roofing system. The accessories consist of Winterguard, Roofrunner, Drip Edge, Swift Start, Certainteed Shingles, Ridge Vent, and Shadow Ridge. Shortly after the roof is completed, our crew installed snow CertainTeed Mainstreet D4 vinyl siding with new 12 x 18 gable vents.
